Viagra Professional (sildenafil) is an oral drug taken for treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. The drug helps even in the most severe cases of ED.

Contraindications

Do not take Viagra Professional if you have any of the following conditions:

myeloma;
diseases of the cardiovascular system;
kidney and liver decompensation;
penile curvature;
age under 18 years.

This medicine is not used to treat sexual disorders in women.

Interactions

You should not combine this stimulant with nitrates (including nitroglycerin), molsidomine and other nitric oxide donors, other drugs to treat erectile dysfunction,cimetidine, ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin, saquinavir, ritonavir and a number of other drugs (inhibitors of the isoenzyme CYP3A4), rifampicin and other inducers of the isoenzyme.

Overdose

An overdose of sildenafil can cause intensified adverse reactions: sensation of heat, dizziness, redness of the face, headache, impaired vision, dyspeptic symptoms, decreased blood pressure.

Treatment should be symptomatic. Dialysis is ineffective.

Precautions

Only a doctor can decide if Viagra Professional is a necessary medication for you. The drug can cause a slight temporary decrease in blood pressure, so you may need to undergo a medical examination to confirm or exclude a diagnosis of erectile dysfunction, and also find out that you can take sildenafil without risk to your health, including with other drug you take. Your doctor must determine if your heart can withstand the stress of having sex.

Be sure to tell your doctor if you have or have ever had:

any heart problems (for example, angina pectoris, heart failure, heart rhythm disturbances, my-ocardial infarction, or stenosis of the aorta);
a stroke;
low or high blood pressure;
a severe loss of vision;
a rare congenital eye disease – retinitis pigmentosa;
kidney problems;
liver problems;
a blood disease, including sickle cell anemia or leukemia;
allergy to sildenafil;
a penile deformity (Peyronie’s disease),
an erection lasting more than 4 hours;ulcerative bleeding or any other bleeding;
and if you are taking any other drugs.
